Sweethearts snap a picture before cheering on the Mean Green at the first game of the season

UNT VS. ACU TAILGATE: AUGUST 31

Where there is spirit, there is North Texas Sweethearts! NTS kicked off the first tailgate of the football season with Kappa Sig at The Hill. The hot dogs were grillin' while the drinks were chillin' as the organization reunited for the first time this semester. This tailgate was the only opportunity for girls wanting to go through recruitment to see what it's like to tailgate with the Sweethearts. Ten possible recruits made an appearance and got to know their future sisters. The PR officer and her chairs came up with a new idea to give a gift to the most spirited. Sweetheart Bailey Baker won the first tailgate prize for her white-out face paint.
