Sweethearts Make a Difference 10/26

Each semester UNT hosts Make a Difference Day and sends students out into the Denton community to volunteer. This event is a great opportunity for students to give back to their community and that is just what our Sweethearts did. Our girls volunteered at Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area (LLELA) and helped with their prairie restoration. They spent the morning planting native Texas grasses and other prairie vegetation to help restore the prairie land and encourage the native wildlife to return to the area. Our girls would like the thank UNT and the LLELA prairie restoration team for the opportunity to give back.
